Comfort and security for your home with our roller shutters
ROLTEK roller shutters are sophisticated systems and can, if desired, be fully automated. They protect you from summer heat, noise, prying eyes, burglary and heat loss through windows.
RA.2 top-mounted roller shutters
The basic top-mounted roller shutter system is intended for anyone looking for a high-quality, highly insulated roller shutter system without the need for integrated insect screens. The housing is made of dual-chamber PVC profiles and insulated with polystyrene. High-quality plastic guide rails are available, although aluminium guide rails are more recommended as they are even more resistant to weathering. Like all top-mounted systems, RA.2 is installed together with the window into the prepared opening.
The housing has an inspection cover on the front inner side, so it remains partially visible inside the room after installation. If you want the housing to be completely concealed beneath the plaster, choose one of the other top-mounted roller shutter systems.
PURO 2.XR top-mounted roller shutters
The only top-mounted system with an inspection opening on the outside. As a result, the housing is completely closed on the inside and achieves the highest thermal insulation on the market. The system is multifunctional and, in addition to providing shading, the integrated insect screen allows you to enjoy your free time in peace, without annoying insects.
RA.3 top-mounted roller shutters
Designed for anyone looking for a high-quality, highly insulated roller shutter system without the need for integrated insect screens. The housing is made of dual-chamber PVC profiles and insulated with polystyrene. The guide rails can be made of plastic, although we recommend aluminium guide rails as they are even more resistant to weathering. Like all top-mounted systems, RA.3 is installed together with the window into the prepared opening.
The main advantage of the RA.3 system is that the inspection cover is located on the underside of the housing, so it is not visible inside the room and can easily be covered with plaster.

What is the difference between roller shutters, external blinds and screen shades?
Roller shutters provide the highest level of blackout as well as additional thermal and acoustic insulation. External blinds allow precise control of light and privacy, as the slats can be adjusted according to the angle of the sun. Screen shades are primarily designed to provide protection from sunlight and overheating while maintaining the view to the outside.
How do I properly maintain ROLTEK external shading systems?
For proper operation and a long service life of roller shutters and shading systems, we recommend regular and gentle cleaning with mild cleaning agents that do not contain aggressive chemicals. It is important to avoid using rough or abrasive cleaning tools, as these may damage the surface of the product. Always follow the provided instructions for use and maintenance and regularly check the operation of the shading systems to ensure that any irregularities are identified at an early stage.
Can I order custom-made shading systems?
Yes, all shading systems are custom-made to suit the dimensions of your windows and your preferences regarding colour, materials and operation.
