HERO Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds
Front-mounted external Venetian blinds provide excellent protection against heat while giving the building a modern appearance.
They are a popular choice in contemporary architecture and can also be retrofitted to existing buildings.
HERO.1 Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds
Numerous carefully engineered details make the HERO.1 system an ideal choice for modern, low-energy and passive-house construction. The entire system is designed with a focus on exceptional stability while also providing additional burglary protection.
The HERO.1 system stands out for its excellent room darkening, sophisticated slat design, exceptional stability and quiet operation. It is available with two slat types – P and S – allowing both the functionality and appearance of the building to be tailored to individual requirements.
HERO.1X Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds
The HERO.1X version provides even greater comfort thanks to the option of an integrated insect screen. It is suitable for new builds and renovations as well as existing buildings, with both surface-mounted and concealed installation options available.
The HERO.1X guide rails feature a carefully engineered two-part design, ensuring that no screws remain visible after installation. This also enhances security, as the guide rails cannot simply be unscrewed from the window by a potential intruder.
HERO.2 Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds
The HERO.2 system is the classic version of external Venetian blinds with aluminium guide rails. In addition to standard guide rails mounted directly onto the window, concealed guide rails are also available and can be fully integrated into the façade.
A range of exposed and concealed cover panels is available. Made from 1.5 mm thick aluminium, they provide excellent stability even across larger widths.
HERO.3Front-Mounted External Venetian Blinds
The new HERO.3 system is designed for those who value technical sophistication, minimalist aesthetics and excellent thermal insulation.
The head box and guide rails are fully concealed beneath the render, creating a seamless appearance while preventing thermal bridges and condensation where the system meets the window reveal.
The entire system is self-supporting and engineered for exceptional stability, while also providing additional burglary protection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find answers to some of the questions our customers ask most frequently. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, feel free to contact us – we will be happy to advise you.
What is the difference between roller shutters, external blinds and screen shades?
Roller shutters provide the highest level of blackout as well as additional thermal and acoustic insulation. External blinds allow precise control of light and privacy, as the slats can be adjusted according to the angle of the sun. Screen shades are primarily designed to provide protection from sunlight and overheating while maintaining the view to the outside.
What is the warranty period for roller shutters, external blinds and screen shades?
The warranty period depends on the type of product. Most products are covered by a 2- to 5-year warranty, while certain components are covered for 6 months or 1 year. The warranty covers the proper functioning and quality of the product under normal conditions of use.
How does the warranty claim process for roller shutters or external blinds work?
You can submit a warranty claim in writing to the company address, by email or by telephone.
The following must be provided: the invoice, a photograph of the defect and the delivery inspection report.
Can manual shading systems be upgraded to motorized systems?
In many cases, yes. However, this depends on the type of existing system. A technical assessment is required to determine whether a motorized upgrade is possible.
Can I order custom-made shading systems?
Yes, all shading systems are custom-made to suit the dimensions of your windows and your preferences regarding colour, materials and operation.
Do shading systems affect the energy efficiency of a home?
Yes. Properly installed external shading systems can help reduce overheating in summer and heat loss in winter, thereby improving the building’s energy efficiency.
Are external shading systems noisy in windy conditions?
Slight movement or noise during strong winds is normal and does not indicate a product defect.
