FABRIC TYPES

Choosing the right fabric has an important impact on the amount of light, level of privacy and shading of a space. For OLIMP screen shades, high-quality and durable fabric made of fiberglass with a PVC coating is available.

You can choose between different levels of openness – from 10% to 0%, with 0% providing complete room darkening.

All fabric types are available in a wide range of colours.

10% - optional

Fabric with a high degree of transparency reduces glare and views from the surroundings. The fabric has a B1 fire protection classification.

5% - standard

The fabric provides excellent protection against heat and glare while maintaining a clear view to the outside. When a darker colour is selected, visible light transmission falls below 5%. The fabric has a B2 fire protection classification.

2% - optional

Fabric with 2% openness effectively reduces glare and solar heat transmission, while still allowing partial visibility to the outside and providing protection against heat. The fabric has a B1 fire protection classification.

1% - optional

The right choice for zip screen shades when a high level of protection against glare and outside views is desired. The view to the outside is very limited. The fabric has a B1 fire protection classification.

0% - optional

Fabric with no openings provides complete room darkening and protection against solar heat. It does not allow light to pass through and prevents any view through the fabric to the outside. The fabric has a B1 fire protection classification. The inner side of the fabric is white.
