VECTO Version for Solar Collectors
At ROLTEK, we are committed to protecting the environment and using natural energy sources efficiently. That is why we developed the VECTO system, which helps owners of solar collectors prevent system overheating. VECTO roller shutters are easy to install over the solar panel and, in the event of excessive heat, can be quickly closed using a remote control, protecting the solar cells from sunlight.
VECTO Version for Skylight Windows
The VECTO system is also suitable for installation on skylight windows and larger glazed surfaces, such as conservatories. Comfortable shading is also ensured for larger dimensions, creating a pleasant living environment without overheating.
Slats
The slats are made of rolled aluminium filled with insulating foam, making them extremely lightweight while maintaining high stability. They are available in three different sizes, allowing adaptation to different requirements and types of roller shutters.
Different Box Options
The Boxes of the VECTO system are available in pentagonal or semicircular shapes – the choice is yours.
Control Options
VECTO roller shutters can be operated via a wall switch or remote control, allowing easy and convenient adjustment of shading for roof surfaces. For special applications, particularly for shading solar collectors, a solar drive is also available, providing a practical and durable solution.

The basic material is aluminium, which is always powder-coated. This treatment ensures long-lasting colour, resistance to weather conditions and worry-free use without the need for repainting. A wide selection of colours is available from the extensive RAL colour range and other colour charts.

Are external shading systems suitable for areas with strong winds?
Yes. However, in areas exposed to strong winds, we recommend selecting a suitable type of shading system, such as the ZIP SCREEN OLIMP, and using wind sensors for additional protection.
Do external shading systems help with thermal insulation?
Yes, external shading systems significantly reduce indoor heat gain in summer by blocking solar radiation before it reaches the glass. This helps maintain lower indoor temperatures and reduces the need for air conditioning.
How do I properly maintain ROLTEK external shading systems?
For proper operation and a long service life of roller shutters and shading systems, we recommend regular and gentle cleaning with mild cleaning agents that do not contain aggressive chemicals. It is important to avoid using rough or abrasive cleaning tools, as these may damage the surface of the product. Always follow the provided instructions for use and maintenance and regularly check the operation of the shading systems to ensure that any irregularities are identified at an early stage.
How long does production and installation take?
Production and installation typically take between 4 and 10 weeks, depending on the complexity of the order and current production capacity.
What can void the warranty?
The warranty may become void if the product has not been properly maintained or if the user has not followed the instructions for use and maintenance. The warranty also does not apply if the product has been damaged due to improper or inappropriate use, or if modifications or repairs have been carried out by unauthorised persons. In such cases, the conditions for warranty coverage are considered no longer to be met.
What is the delivery time for ROLTEK external shading systems?
The standard delivery time is usually 4 to 10 weeks from order confirmation or once all technical specifications have been finalised.
